So glad my parents didn't listen and take her back to the hospital after she was born (my request when I was three-and-a-half years old and they brought home this baby)!
I would not have been able to get through this past year without her by my side, dealing with my Mom's illness and passing. She's been the strong one throughout, taking on more than her share in Mom's care, helping with Dad, meeting with doctors and caregivers, everything.
I'm so thankful to have my sister as my best friend.
