day for dads

Had a nice Father's Day with several dads...

Started off meeting Ehu, Kory, Kolee and Nohi at Boots and Kimo's in Kailua.  Unfortunately, even though we were early, there were lots of people who were even earlier and we had a very long wait. (Kolee looks sad because he was hungry.)  The food was good (they are known for their macadamia nut sauce on their pancakes), but I don't think it was worth waiting two hours for.  But it was nice to spend time with the Tabilangans.  So glad that they live on Oahu now.

We had dinner with my dad, Jan and Craig, and Ryan at Noboru's, in Kailua again.  We so rarely go into Kailua so twice in one day was unusual.

Here's the latest pic of father and son...

And one from when Ryan was brand-new.  He would always sleep well with his dad.

We got a pic with my dad too...he said he looks scared!

And it was a special first Father's Day for our nephew Nainoa who is in Houma, Lousiana.

His son, Syden, was born on May 26 in Honolulu.  I found his baby picture and posted it on Facebook.  His girlfriend Brittany, Syden's mom, re-posted it next to a picture of Syden and they look so much alike.  Such a cutie!
