It's the day before the Kamehameha Schools' 90th Song Contest. The kids spent the day at NBC practicing. Ryan's friend Conor made the "2011" shirt he wore. They also gave out "Class of 2011" green bracelets since green is their class color.
He said that their co-ed song leader 'Ake'a wrote personal notes to every member of the junior class, leaving them on their assigned seats at NBC. How awesome is that? He also got them in a circle and had them meet and greet every other member of the class, since not everyone knows all their classmates.

P.S. Getting something green to wear to the song contest to support the junior class has been on my mind this week. Went to Manuheali'i and Macy's but didn't find anything. Went to the KBBC meeting on Wednesday the 17th and kept seeing people wearing green and thought what a coincidence it was that they were wearing green when I was looking for a green outfit. Thought how nice it was that they supported their kids in the junior class, even though it wasn't song contest day yet. DUH! It was St Patrick's Day! Didn't occur to me until the next day. That's how self-absorbed and obsessed I was with GREEN!
