Got home from Japan today...we left Narita at 7:40 pm on June 11, then arrived at 7:40 am on June 11 in Honolulu, so we gained back the day we lost when we flew over on June 1.
Our first stop after leaving the airport was Zippy's...chili chicken plate for Darrell, chili burrito for me, loco moco for Ryan. Then bocha, LOTS of laundry (still have one more load to go), naps, unpacking and omiyage sorting, and uploaded nearly 1000 pics from the two cameras.
Great trip, great experience, but physically and mentally exhausting as well.
Heading to bed, more later. At least I have two more days to recover before heading back to work.
