happy birthday to me

Jan and Craig gave us a gift certificate to 3660 On the Rise last year for our 20th wedding anniversary and for some reason we never got around to using it.  So for my birthday, I decided that we should go, even though Ryan was at Band Camp and couldn't join us.

Darrell and I have never been to the restaurant before, but have been to their banquet room for grad parties.  This was my entree:  applewood smoke bacon wrapped beef tenderloin with green peppercorn sauce and bleu cheese butter.  We had yummy appetizers and desserts too.  We had a really great dinner.

And thanks to all the Facebook friends (and family) for the birthday wishes; it's so nice to be thought of.

My Outrigger Waikiki friends also took me out to a surprise lunch at Beijing Restaurant the day before.  So much yummy food.  Thank you to Lorna and Kelvin for plotting the surprise, to Kim, Janice, Jim, Puna, Shae, and Herman for coming, and to Ivy for always ordering the best dishes!  Miss seeing you guys everyday!
