charity walk 2013

Persuaded Darrell to come with me to help at the hotel's Visitor Industry Charity Walk station on May 18.  Ours was the first station after the start so we were done early.  Fun to see so many friends walking. 

We went to Likelike for breakfast after, then headed to the office for a little while.  Then it was time for Star Trek Into Darkness!  Loved the original series and movies and the movie that led to this one, which showed how all the characters met.  Looked forward to this one as soon as the last one was done.

It was as good as I expected!  (Don't say that about many movies.)  Darrell liked it too and even wanted to take a picture in front of the sign (and he really doesn't get excited about that many movies).  Would love to see it again, either in the theater or on DVD.  We went home and watched the earlier movie on TV.

Fun day spent with my hun, who has been very patient with all my crazy work hours, coming home late in the evenings and working weekends.
