There were so many different ones, but I actually just picked up one and wound up keeping it, even though I looked through others.
After we got our bowls wrapped up, we headed to pick our soup, which came in one small disposable bowl. Someone told me when she went to an earlier event, she picked the biggest bowl she could find because she thought they filled the bowl with soup. Sadly, not the case here. There were 20 different restaurants offering different soups, from Big City Diner and Side Street Inn, to 3660 on the Rise, Pineapple Room and Mariposa.
We chose French Onion Soup from Le Bistro, which was pretty good. Darrell's former co-worker Todd was in the booth serving, along with his sister Traci and brother-in-law, Scott, who is coincidentally Darrell's classmate from Moloka'i. When he and Todd worked together, they never knew they had that connection through Scott.
Jan's friends, Trudi and Tammi and Matt and his friend, also joined us for dinner.
This was a fun shot of Jan surprised by her french toast covered with whipped cream. We had tried to go there before but it was so crowded for breakfast (not so much for dinner).
