Rock Stars

Ryan and his band, "The Michael Sproles Experiment," performed at Kamehameha's Hoolaulea on Saturday. Top row: Keali'i -drums, Paul -bass. Bottom row: Joel-rhythm guitar, Josh-vocals, Ryan-lead guitar. They did an awesome job, playing "Paradise City" (Guns n Roses), "Sweet Child o Mine" (Guns n Roses), "Rock and Roll" (Led Zeppelin), "Moby Dick" (Led Zeppelin), "Slither" (Velvet Revolver), and "Flake" (Jack Johnson). They need to practice more together, but they all knew their own parts well. They got their name because their friend Michael Sproles went to reserve the practice room for them at school and had to write down the group's name. He wrote "Michael Sproles Experience" as a joke and the guys liked it. So Michael got up to introduce them on the stage in the 'Akahi Dining Hall.

They had the audience screaming for them and a classmate following them around with a video camera interviewing them, so they had celebrity treatment. Hopefully they'll get to practice together more often so they can get better.
