Last Thursday Ryan drove us out to the north shore to eat shrimp. He did a good job. Just 20-something more practice hours to go until he hits his quota and can try for his license.

The weather was so weird - hot, voggy, then downpour. But the rain didn't do anything to relieve the mugginess.






We headed to the same place we went to before - Giovanni's. So garlicky and yummy and freshly prepared.





















Darrell decided to try the boiled shrimp with lemon-butter sauce on the side. He was disappointed. Gotta go for the garlic shrimp! Some people at the next table got the spicy shrimp; could smell the tabasco from our table.

The garlic was all over, even on the rice. Looking at this, I want to drive out there again soon!
