Google Me!

Wow, I was just googling the band to see if I could find info about the awards they won and any more photos or info, and found out that my blog comes up! That's cool but a little freaky too. I'm doing this mostly for me, but part of me wants the blog read too. Well, I guess I can change the setting to block googling if I want to be more private.

Found these photos from the Honolulu Advertiser website http://the.honoluluadvertiser.com/article/2007/Dec/22/ln/band.html. We saw them before we left, but I didn't notice until just now that Ryan is in the back of his friend Sproles in the truck with his tuba! These photos were taken at the band's final rehearsal in the Aloha Stadium parking lot on December 21, when Mayor Mufi Hanneman came by to deliver a proclamation, making January 1, 2008 the Kamehameha All-Warrior Marching Band Day to commemorate their appearance in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade. Pretty cool!
