rest in peace
My brother-in-law's father passed away recently. We usually celebrated the holidays together...Father's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. But I didn't know him that well, except that he was kind and generous, loved traveling to Japan, and really enjoyed the holiday buffets!
But at his funeral, his best friend, Mr. Ross, who knew him for almost 60 years, spoke movingly and eloquently about him and their longtime friendship. We learned that Mr. Park served in three wars, WWII, Korean and Vietnam, that he spoke three languages, that he looked after Mr. Ross' family when he was stationed faraway. There were humorous stories as well, which brought laughter as well as tears. It seems that Mr. Park and Mr. Ross were fortunate to have been part of each other's lives for so many years.
Sincere condolences to Craig and Jan. We will miss your dad and remember him always.
